Roberto Clemente is a famous baseball player from Puerto Rico. He played 18 seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates where he won 12 Golden Glove awards. He also won the National Leagues Most Valuable Player Award (1966) and the World Series MVP (1971). He died in a plane crash giving supplies to Earthquake victims in Nicaragua. Clemente was the first Latin American accepted into the MLB Hall of Fame.
