Proyectos

Most interesting to me was how similar each Spanish speaking country is to one another. I found it very interesting that such an overwhelming amount of countries celebrate QuinceaƱeras.

Proyecta

The most interesting thing I learned from the projects is that in most Spanish speaking countries soccer is the most played sport of the countries.

Poster Project

I learned a lot from the presentations of the different Spanish countries. The most interesting fact was in some Spanish countries it is considered as polite if you arrive at an event 30 or more minutes late. In America if you are late it is very impolite.

Proyectos

I thought one of the most interesting facts was about the country of Chile. In their country, people are 50% less likely to have HIV/AIDS versus the United States of America. I also thought it was really interesting that Chile's flag looks almost identical to the flag for Texas, USA. Overall learned a lot about different Hispanic cultures from around the world.

Proyectos

It was interesting to learn about holidays in Spanish-speaking countries. Some of the customs were very similar to our customs here in the U.S., but some were very different. The most interesting fact I learned was that Colombians eat twelve grapes on New Year's Eve for good luck.
The most interesting fact I found was that in Ecuador no matter where you live you can pick any school you want to go to, no matter how far away it is. In the United States we do not get to choose what school to go to, it depends where we live at.

Proyectos

One of the most interesting facts I learned from the projects is that in one of the Spanish countries it is considered rude to show up on time. It is more formal to show up half an hour or forty five minutes late. In the United States this would be considered extremely rude.
